eMob Tech & Soundtracker

Hi, all

Yesterday, we announced via our account on Twitter (@emobtech) that eMob Tech and Soundtracker are working together. For those who do not know Sountracker, it is the first geosocial music service for smartphones and the web. There are over 10 millions songs to listen for free.

Users can tune into the music their friends are listening to, find out where they're listening, and geo-tag songs to real world locations for other people to discover.

eMob Tech has worked on the development and tests, in order to maintain (bug fixing) and evolve (new features) their mobile version for Nokia devices (S40, S60, S^3, Anna and Belle).

Soundtracker is available for many platforms, e.g., iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Nokia, Bada, etc. So, there is no excuse for not trying out Soundtracker.

TwAPIme for Android: 100% open source

Last friday, eMob Tech launched a new app for Android platform: TwAPIme. It is an open source Twitter client powered by Twitter API ME project. The idea behind this project is to provide to Twitter API ME developers, one more channel of learning. Developers will be able to see and learn how the API's features are implemented in a real and professional app.

End users are also welcome to enjoy TwAPIme.

See below the list of functionalities:

* Home, Mentions, DM and List timelines.
* Post, reply and comment tweet.
* Retweet.
* Send Direct Message.
* Favorite tweet.
* User profile management.
* Friends and Followers management (follow/block).
* List management (create, delete, add members, etc).
* User and tweet search.
* Report spammer.

TwAPIme's source code is FREE ONLY for NON-commercial purposes. Actually, you can change it, add new features, fix bugs, etc. However, if you intend to release it as an app of yours, be aware it MUST be 100% FREE, besides making clear it is powered by Twitter API ME project and providing a link to website's project.

TwStreet: Check out the Traffic

A couple of weeks ago, eMob Tech released a new app called, TwStreet.

TwStreet collects, consolidates and displays tweets (Twitter messages) in real time, from people on the streets sharing what they find, on events in the traffic (e.g. traffic jam, accident, etc.). The goal is to help other people avoid some setbacks, and then arrive at their destinations faster.

The app obtains information through the search of tweets sent by specific or personal accounts created by users, which are intended to share everything that happens in traffic, with his followers.

Based on that, TwStreet provides a tool, whose content is created by the users, regardless of whether or not they use it. Because everything is on Twitter! TwStreet here to add this great community.

TwStreet is currently available only for Android devices, powered by Android OS 1.6 or higher. The app is FREE and is available in Android Market.

Twitter API ME & Facebook API ME

Very eventful week. This week, eMob Tech released three good news for mobile developers: a new version of Twitter API ME, the new project Facebook API ME and TwAPIme for Android.

We worked for a long time on those projects to get them done this week, by concluding all the tests.

TwAPIme for Android is a great opportunity for developers to learn about Twitter API ME and Android development. This is a fully open source project that you can download right now.
